How ARESTIN works
After scaling and root planing, we place tiny ARESTIN microspheres into the pocket. They release minocycline (an antibiotic) gradually over several weeks — killing the bacteria your toothbrush can’t reach.
What to expect
Placement is quick and painless. No injection, no recovery. Avoid brushing or flossing the treated area for 12 hours and skip sticky food for a week. You may notice an improvement in gum health within weeks.
