Comfortable removal
Tooth Extractions
Gentle removal when preservation isn’t possible — with a plan for what comes next.
We try to save teeth whenever it makes sense. But when a tooth can’t be saved — or it’s causing real harm — extracting it cleanly and planning what replaces it is the right call.
When extraction is the answer
Severe decay or fracture beyond what restoration can repair. Advanced gum disease that’s loosened the tooth. Wisdom teeth causing pain or crowding. Pre-orthodontic extractions to make space. We’ll always discuss the alternatives first.
What to expect
Local anesthesia ensures you don’t feel pain during the procedure. We can add nitrous oxide or oral sedation for anxious patients. Most extractions take 10 to 30 minutes. We’ll send you home with simple aftercare instructions and a follow-up plan.
Planning the replacement
Before we extract, we plan what replaces the tooth — usually a dental implant, sometimes a bridge or denture. In some cases we’ll place a bone graft at the time of extraction to preserve the site for a future implant.
