A child’s relationship with the dentist starts long before they need fillings. The first visits should be warm, unhurried, and a little fun — that’s how we build a lifetime of comfort in the chair.
The first visit
We recommend a first visit by age one or within six months of the first tooth erupting. Mostly we ride the chair, count teeth, and let your child get comfortable. By age three, we add a real cleaning.
What we offer for kids
Routine cleanings and exams, fluoride treatments, dental sealants on permanent molars, tooth-colored fillings when needed, orthodontic monitoring, and sports mouthguards for athletes.
Anxious kids welcome
Some kids need extra time. Some need nitrous oxide. Some need to come three or four times before they let us touch a tooth — and that’s fine. We never rush a child who isn’t ready.
