Tooth-colored composites
Fillings & Restorations
Modern composite fillings that look natural and protect what’s left of the tooth.
When decay reaches the inside of a tooth, the goal is to remove the bad and protect the good. We use bonded tooth-colored composite — no silver-mercury amalgam, no obvious patches.
Why tooth-colored composite
It bonds chemically to the tooth (which strengthens the remaining structure), matches your natural shade, requires removing less healthy tooth than amalgam, and contains no mercury. Aesthetically and biologically, it’s the modern standard.
What if the cavity is too big?
Sometimes a filling isn’t enough — if too much tooth is gone, the tooth needs more support. In those cases we consider inlays, onlays, or full crowns. Dr. Campbell will explain what your tooth actually needs and why.
